True Meaning of Christmas

It was the first day of December and I can already know that it's Christmas again. The wind is blowing, the bells are ringing the birds are singing and the streets are glowing, It's Jesus birth and we are all celebrating.
The true meaning of Christmas is all about giving and love and forgiving. Giving those blessings that God has given you and share it to other people so that they'll also know what Christmas is all about. Forgiving those people who did a not so good to you and forget about what they did because Christmas is all about forgiving and moving forward so that we will enter a new year happily. Christmas is all about love, love to your family, love to your neighbour and love to your friends. Christmas is the time when Jesus was born and let us celebrate this moment and bring peace, love and joy to everyone around the world.

Climate Change

The only permanent thing in this world is change. Everything in the world are meant to change, nothing is permanent and so with the climate change.
Calamities, pollution, change in temperature and the thinning of the ozone layer is continuously affecting our world. This wrath makes our life miserable and we are all affected.

“We are the Steward of God’s Creation” but the question is, are we taking care of the world? I don’t think so because the world is suffering. In fact we are destroying it, whose responsible? We are!, we the humans are the responsible for all the chaos that is happening in this world. What do we do? We have to change our wrong doings and let’s make our world clean, green and beautiful! Let’s all save the world!

"Outpouring Hearts And Minds Through Literacy and English Proficiency"

"Outpouring Hearts And Minds Through Literacy and English Proficiency"

This is the theme for this years National Book Month Celebration.
All around the world, English Language continuously widen our mind, body and heart, the overwhelming language touches our life especially in Literature.
According to my research Philippines belongs to the Top Ten Most English Speaking Countries in the world. So this means, Filipinos are really good in speaking the English language. When it comes to reading we find it really hard to understand what the author is saying because the words are difficult to understand. Sometimes we are lazy enough to look at the dictionary and define it's definition. And we may say that the book is boring without even trying to understand the real meaning or the real story behind it. Books like novels, epics etc. do have words that we still don't encounter but reading it may help us to widen our knowledge and make us really good in speaking English
And if you continue to read books you can teach other children to speak in English and together we'll all be good in English. Together let's touch the hearts and minds of the people!

Equal Rights Equal Opportunities

Going back to earlier years, men and women don't have equal rights and opportunities. The law is in favor for boys during those days.
We all live in a democratic country where we all have the rights to do anything we want to do. Looking now, w can see women and men are equal. There are also women who enters a work that exclusively for boys only but girls prove that they can also do the work of boys.. We have this affirmative actions that gives women equal opportunity, where there is no discrimination. But in mass media there is still discrimination among women even if we have the laws or anti violence against women and their children we can't still avoid discrimination.
To all women, let us all stand up and fight for our rights. Let us put an end to that discrimination and show those men that we are stronger than they are!

Reflection

During the second grading,I've learned about the HTML. In the beginning, I find it hard to do because during the discussions, I'm not really listening. But after that, I've decided to listen to my teacher so that I can do the different activities. I find myself smiling when I'm doing it. I never thought doing those activities will be fun.
Well I promise to myself that I will be a better student this coming grading.

My Teacher My Hero

Teaching is the profession that teaches all other professions. Without them, there is no Doctors, Nurses, Policemen and other professions. Teachers are one of the best heroes in the whole wide world, why? There is a lot of reasons why.
They are not only a teacher to us but they serve as our second parents when we're not home. They make sure that that we are okay and they want us to focus on our studies always. They are also our friend, because they give us advice and lessons in life. Whenever we have problem they are always there, ready to give their shoulders to lean on and many more.
For me, thank you is not enough it's like they are our heroes in every part of our life in school. O would like to say thank you but I know it’s not enough.
But Thank You for everything, the sacrifices, lessons and advises that you gave to us. Without you we will not be like this, you were always be in our hearts. Thank you for the love, care and every thing. This will serve as a remembrance as we continue our journey in life. I salute all the sacrifices and good deeds that you did. Thank You for the enduring impressions you've made in the lives you have touched. I'll treasure your advises. I salute every Teacher! Thank you and God Bless.

Parents are Heroes

Being a hero requires such power like flying. Superheroes like Superman,Batman and many more, we consider them as heroes right? But did you ever ask yourself if they really exist? I mean do superheroes really exist?
Today is a modern year. Just like technology, our hero is also revolving, what I mean is being a hero does not require special powers like flying we only need to be true to ourselves. Heroes today don't have costumes and because of that they are not being noticed.
I salute my parents and I'm very proud of them, not because they are my parents but because they are such a hero. To tell you honestly, are family is big. We are 5 sisters and if you include my parents we are 7 all in all. I salute them to the fact that they are not giving up on us, they work hard just to feed us 3 times a day. My parents are both working, my father is a policeman and my mother is a teacher. My father is such a hero, because he make sure that we are in a good hands if he's not around, he also helps needy people. He's kindness makes him a popular man.
My Mother is such a hero , because even if she's tired she also make sure that we are in a ggod condition. She's a hero because she teaches us and also her students good manners. She is also helpful to the people who needs her help.
We can all be heroes, we don't need powers to be a hero because a hero requires only a heart to help. Say thank you to your parents and salute them because they are heroes. "Be a Hero, and Save the World".

Wika Ng Pagkakaisa

Another Chapter Begins

Another chapter begins, as the first quarter of this School Year 2014-2015 end. I must say that I have learned a lot in the subject Information and Communication Technology (ICT) especially in Blogging. Blogging help us students to have access to online English-Dictionaries and with the help of blogging, we can easily find information.
But we always encounter problems such as creating the essay, it’s because I’m not good in making compositions especially in English.
I tried my best just to make a nice composition and I started to read books so that my grammar will be correct. And I let my classmates to read and correct my grammar.

I am not yet contented with what I know about the web and the internet. I’ll try my best to be attentive and I will make my blog the best blog. Yet I enjoyed learning ICT.

Last July 18,2014 our President Benigno Simeon Aquino III delivered his 5th  State of the Nation Address (SONA). Some politicians and some veterans said that the SONA is not complete. P-Noy delivered his SONA  in Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City.
He tackled the Philippine problems like the Economy,Public Works, Education and many more. But he did not mention about the DAP. He also mention that there is no admission of any major problems in the system and nothing more about the number 1 problem- the corruption.
As a student, I am really expecting him to tell more about what is happening today like the Impeachment Complaints, DAP, Pork Barrel Scam, Corruption and energy lose. It is not fair, he only discussedthe improvemnts not the problems.
We only informed about the positive and left hanging with the negatives. He should mentioned those problems that we are encountering right now. He should  have told us his actions or plans of what is he going to do with that problem.  He should add more on his next SONA.
“Kalamidad Paghandaan, Gutom At Malnutrisyon Agapan”
I can hear the scream of hunger and malnutrition. I can hear them cry and beg for mercy. In surviving the calamity amidst thiem is a more unforgiving enemy. Strong storm and powerful winds they have survived for they always eat fruits and vegetable in their daily life.
Together let’s put and endto sufferig before another life comes to an ending. Let’s all guard ourselves from malnutrition, eat healthy and nutritious foods.
No calamity can put dpwn a man whose mind, body and soul have been toughened by lost loved ones. Don’t let the rain drown your hopes instead prepare and don’t lose hope. Let us all not forget calamities can be anticipated as hunger and malnutrition can be prevented. Let’s guard it with all our might like the same way we tackle the storm and fight.

Letter to the President

Tamag Vigan City
Ilocos Sur
July 01, 2014

Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III
President
Republic of the Philippines

Sir,
          Good Day Sir!
I am very happy that I have given a chance to write a letter to you. And I'm very lucky if you will spend some time to browse this letter. I am a 4th year student of Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS)
and  I am concerned about our country specifically to the people of Tacloban. I'm very sad of what happened and Im so dismayed of what is happening today in there. Instead of giving them or helping them should  I say, some of the people are abusing them. I want to help them but I don't know what to do. I am only a student but I want to help them, infact my family donated some clothes but I know it's not enough. Please help them, they need your help. They all need our help. So please stand, look, observe and make actions of what is happening today. Solve the chaos in our country and make this country, a country of Peace, Love and Unity
Respectfully Yours,
Noreen Cara Rebunal
